Business Systems Analyst

Robert Half is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on Workday HCM to support and mature HR business processes across the organization. This position is a six month contract opportunity that will have the potential to convert to hire and is a hybrid position (2-3 days onsite).

Duration: Six month contract with potential to convert

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite / Tuesday and Thursdays)

Schedule: Monday Friday 8am to 5pm PST

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Workday HCM initiatives.
• Partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to mature and optimize business processes.
• Conduct current-state vs. future-state analysis, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Create clear, well-structured documentation, including process flows, requirements, and analysis artifacts.
• Collaborate closely with cross functional team members and HR to support enhancements and ongoing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Workday core HCM.
• Strong experience conducting gap analysis and defining future-state solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality documentation and present findings clearly.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for sprint reporting and work tracking.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to work across a wide range of audiences and leadership levels.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
