Job Description: CNC Advanced Machinist
Location: Reading, PA
Shift: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday
Salary: $30.00-$36.00/HR

What you will do:
\n - \n Create & Optimize: Program CNC machines for new parts, focusing high-precision and complex components.
\n - \n Lead Projects: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance machining operations, reduce waste, and optimize cycle times.
\n - \n Collaborate: Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure a timely and successful job completion.
\n - \n Inspect & Improve: Perform first article and in-process inspections using manual gauges; make real-time program edits to resolve issues.
\n - \n Document & Track: Use ERP software to log job details and time, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
\n - \n Maintain Excellence: Support safety, 5S, and quality standards while keeping your workspace clean and organized.

What you will bring:
\n - \n Experience: Minimum 5 years in CNC machining, blueprint reading, manual inspection, and program writing/revision.
\n - \n Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks, Mastercam, and 5-axis programming and operation, a plus.
\n - \n Hands-On Ability: Skilled in setup and operation of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
\n - \n Physical Readiness: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
\n - \n Leadership Potential: Experience as a machining lead is a strong plus.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $30-$36. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
