Director Of Cardiology

HSHS St. Elizabeth's is seeking a Director of Cardiology. Directs, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates operational activities within the procedural and pre/post care cardiology units to provide quality patient care. Assures services are compliant with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or other clinical discipline is required.
  • Master's degree business or other healthcare related discipline is preferred.

Experience Qualifications:

  • 2 years critical care, emergency room or charge nurse experience or 2 years Echocardiography, Radiologic Technology, Vascular Ultrasound, Respiratory Therapy, or other clinical related experience is required.
  • 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois or Wisconsin is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
  • May also consider registration in a cardiology clinical related discipline such as Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS); Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS); Registered Cardiac Interventional Specialist (RCIS); Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Registered Technologist of Radiography (RTR); Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or other cardiology registration

Pay Range: $53.07 - $79.60

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
