Early Childhood Teacher

Pay: $30–$34/hour (depending on education & experience)

Plan and implement engaging, inquiry-based lessons tailored to students’ developmental needs.
Design learning objectives that are developmentally appropriate, incorporating open-ended questions and real-world connections.
Foster curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on, play-based experiences.
Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom where every child feels known, valued, and respected.
Maintain consistent, positive guidance and behavioral expectations.
Establish classroom routines, transitions, and expectations that balance structure with flexibility.
Partner with families to set and celebrate goals for each child’s social, emotional, and academic progress.
Communicate regularly and thoughtfully with parents about classroom life and student growth.
Monitor student engagement and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles.
Work closely with co-teachers and colleagues to share ideas, reflect on practice, and continuously improve.
Participate in curriculum planning, professional learning days, and staff meetings.
Uphold Trinity’s mission and contribute positively to the life of the school community.
Supervise students during class, transitions, and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Model problem-solving and emotional regulation skills for children.
Follow and reinforce all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
Educated & Experienced: BA/BS in Early Childhood Education (preferred), or related field; minimum AS with 12 ECE units required.
Compassionate: You lead with empathy, respect, and genuine care for children ages 2–5.
