• Physician in Practice: 11; 2 per shift
• Specialty Backup:
- Radiologist, Critical Care Intensivist, Cardiologist
- Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Neurologist
- Urologist, Hematologist/Oncologist, Psychiatrist
• 24-Hour Available Services:
- Radiology, Lab, OR, Anesthesia
- Pathology: Clinical & Anatomical
- CT, Neuro, Vascular, Ortho
• Blood Bank - Certified by AABB
• Beds in the Dept: 44
• EMR: Epic
• Other Info:
- Fast track in ED
- ED Staff respond to House Codes and managers airway
- Deliveries are sent directly to L&D
- ED is responsible for monitoring, supervising paramedics & Ambulance by radio
- APP will be working autonomously, supervising physician is available
- EM Physicians do the EKG interpretation
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
