Job Description

Schedule :

• Night Coverage - (7p-7a)
• See Patients, Perform some administrative tasks ( radiology review, blood work review when needed although generally performed by employed staff)

Job Information :-

• Wide variety of ED patients with a focus on lower acuity patients
• I and D's, laceration repairs
• PAs are expected to see any patient complaint but are not expected to perform invasive procedures such as central lines, intubation, lumbar puncture. There aren't any patients that the APP isn't "allowed" to see but in general the attending will see the critically ill patients and evaluate STEMI/Stroke patients while the PA is expected to see the minor complaint patients and perform minor procedures including lacerations/I&D etc
