Job Description
Compensation: $17/hr.
Employment type: Part Time about 6 hours a day (Flexible)
Experience level: Entry level
We are a longstanding Retail Packaging distributor located in East Rutherford, NJ looking for an Entry Level Office Assistant in a Small Office.
Students will be heavily considered, especially those in Computer Science or Business courses. This role was fulfilled previously by a student.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reply promptly to customer emails and inquiries
Answering the phones in a professional manner
Assisting in processing of daily orders
Assisting with general clerical task as needed
Creating UPS small package labels and booking LTL freight

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
Strong phone communication and customer service skill
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Adaptable to changing priorities and customer needs
Preferred Experience
Previous administrative or customer service experience a plus
Prior experience working with Quickbooks Enterprise/UPS Worldship preferred
Strong Computer skills
