Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinsons Join to apply for the Field Reimbursement Manager, Advanced Parkinsons role at BioSpace. Overview The Parkinsons Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) acts as an in-field resource to address HCP questions about patient access. The FRM calls on HCP offices in an assigned geography to assist with patient access and reimbursement for Duopa and Vyalev. The FRM provides expertise on coverage and common access and reimbursement challenges, educates on AbbVie access and reimbursement tools, and advises on patient prescription status and program eligibility. This role requires staying current on payer policies, coding changes, and claims submission processes. Candidates Candidates may live in the following cities within the stated geography: Phoenix, Arizona Irvine, California Orange County, California San Diego, California Scottsdale, Arizona Responsibilities Educate HCPs on patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools and services Educate on product-specific acquisition and access options such as specialty pharmacy networks and specialty distribution Educate on resources available to address access issues Provide local expertise on national/regional payor policies to educate providers on payer issues, coding changes, and appropriate claims submission processes Coordinate with AbbVies Access and Reimbursement support center to update HCPs on Rx status and program eligibility Report payer trends to Patient Services and MHC account management teams Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate providers within the territory Remain current on key managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in rare disease with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement Understanding of rules, regulations, and risks associated with reimbursement support services Thorough understanding of payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding, and payment for specialty medicines Strong ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing at National and Regional levels Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and related reimbursement dynamics Understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the rare disease space (Part B DME, Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacies, Distributors, etc.) Knowledge of access and reimbursement support service centers and compliant interaction practices Excellent territory and account management skills Bachelors degree Valid drivers license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; safe driving requirements Ability to meet HCIR credentialing requirements to gain/maintain entry into facilities and organizations in the assigned territory Additional Information AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer.
