Graphic Design Specialist.

Addis Enterprises is an award-winning design, marketing, and eLearning development firm with a variety of high-profile print, video, and web development contracts for businesses, organizations, universities, and state government agencies. Addis Enterprises is seeking a skilled graphic designer to create captivating and impactful design concepts for both print and digital platforms, with a specific focus on eLearning (online course development). The role involves using design software to craft layouts, illustrations, and typography that effectively convey brand messages and engage diverse target audiences across multiple client projects. For eLearning projects, the Graphic Design Specialist will interact with Addis Enterprises team members and external client partners to ensure that online courses achieve the desired learning outcomes, are aesthetically pleasing, and are within scope, resources, and timeline.

Responsibilities:
  • Design original concepts and refine concepts created by clients and team members.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to efficiently gather content and implement feedback.
  • Work with printers and other suppliers to follow approved designs through to completion.
  • Create graphics for blended learning material that supports learner-centric experiences.
  • Develop learning solutions (eLearning, gamifications, animation) using a combination of media and interactable content to maximize engagement.
  • Use effective time management to ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Very high attention to detail.
  • 4 or more years' experience (can include full-time student experience).
  • Advanced Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design skills.
  • Logo creation and branding abilities.
  • Innovative design with constant research on design trends.
  • Intellectual agility and willingness to learn and adopt new approaches and models.
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines using effective time management and project planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, think critically, present ideas clearly, work independently, and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.


Bonus Experience:

  • Prior experience in Storyline or other e-Learning software (or an excitement and willingness to learn).
  • Technical writing skills, ability to conduct rhetorical analyses, and offer assessments.
  • Video and/or audio production abilities, including experience with NLE software such as Adobe Premiere.

Full-time position. Salaries are competitive and calculated with an internal formula that gives credit to education level, years in the field, unique variety of skills, and other factors. Benefits include fully employer-paid platinum-level health insurance, 3% matched IRA, yearly revenue-sharing bonuses, education credits, generous PTO, and more. Position can be fully in-office, or a hybrid between office and work-from-home with flexible scheduling (first three months will be 4-5 days per week in office; eventually 2-3 days per week in-office will be expected). Fully remote candidates will not be considered at this time.
