Legal Intern
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support a variety of legal and compliance functions within our HR team. This role offers hands-on experience in areas such as immigration coordination, legal research, document drafting, and corporate compliance. This role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities:
● Conduct legal research on topics related to employment, immigration, compliance, and corporate law
● Summarize findings and prepare briefing materials to support decision-making
● Assist in drafting and proofreading legal documents and correspondence with external legal partners
● Support legal team on immigration-related matters by collecting documentation, tracking case statuses, following up on deadlines, maintain compliance with U.S. employment-based immigration requirements
● Assist in monitoring and documenting compliance with internal policies and applicable legal/regulatory standards
● Update internal systems with legal or compliance-related information as needed
● Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and digital. Assist in scheduling meetings with legal partners, tracking deliverables, preparing agendas, and recording meeting notes
● Providing administrative support as assigned by team
Qualifications:
● Current student or recent graduate in HR-related majors
● Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
● Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
● High integrity with a proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
● Preferred strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and communication
● Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
