Madden Industrial Craftsmen , a premier staffing agency specializing in industrial and manufacturing trades, is currently seeking a MIG Welder/Fabricator for a fabrication company located in South Phoenix/Tempe, AZ .
This company designs and builds mild steel and stainless-steel enclosures and other fabricated products of various sizes.


Job Title: MIG Welder/Fabricator
Pay Rate: $24-$28/hour DOE
Location: South Phoenix/Tempe, AZ
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM


Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel materials.
• Create fixtures and use jigs to fabricate components accurately.
• Operate shop equipment including shears, benders, cold saws, band saws, and grinders.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings to ensure precision fabrication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Handle material pick-ups, deliveries, and other shop-related tasks.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.

• 2-3 years of MIG welding and fabrication experience (push/pull MIG preferred).
• Ability to weld to tight tolerances and proper TAC placement with hot TACS.
• Experience using fabrication shop tools and equipment.
• Forklift experience and valid driver's license required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Must pass a drug test.
