PER DIEM
The Pediatric RN provides age appropriate nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an acute care setting, supporting both patients and families through illness, treatment, and recovery.
Responsibilities
• Perform focused pediatric assessments, monitor vital signs, pain, and response to treatment for a variety of medical and surgical conditions
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely using weight based dosing and pediatric best practices
• Educate and support patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
