Producer, CNN Global Productions Netflix – Join the Producer, CNN Global Productions role at CNN. Responsibilities Create feature content for CNN’s platforms, including digital articles, social videos, and 30‑minute TV documentaries. Write and edit long and short‑form articles, interactives, image galleries, videos, infographics, photo essays, and opinion pieces. Pitch story ideas and treatments to Copy Editors and section heads across Style, Travel, Business, Health, and other beats. Build content in CNN CMS, write headlines and teaser language optimized for search and platform programming. Commission graphics from the design team and provide editorial details. Collaborate with social teams to drive engagement on CNN’s flagship accounts. Review analytics with Strategic Insights Analyst to inform next steps. Work under the Executive Producer, manage budgets and deliver on sponsored campaign goals. Coordinate production logistics, schedules, booking, and adhere to Ofcom guidelines and editorial processes. Ideate new sponsorship series proposals with Concept Development experts. Qualifications & Experience At least 5 years of experience creating engaging written, video, or social content that drives traffic. Strong writing and editing skills; excellent editorial judgment. Passion and experience using social media as a publishing and audience‑engagement tool. Strong communicator and collaborator with deep understanding of multiple platforms and devices. Organized, efficient, and able to multi‑task booking, logistics, and research. Self‑starting attitude and strong time‑management skills. Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field is preferred or equivalent experience. Compensation Base pay range: $75,320.00 – $139,880.00 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards.
