As an Airport Security Officer at Maui Airport, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Pay Rate: $21.74 with an hourly bonus of $2.72. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Location: Kahului, Maui Schedule - Full Time: Morning (0530-1400 hours) Afternoon (1330-2200 hours) Requirements Valid Driver's License 20+ years of age Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) Responsibilities Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
