Senior Landscape Architect / Project Manager

KEITH is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join our growing Pompano Beach office. This leader will manage diverse landscape architecture projects, guide project teams, and collaborate closely across disciplines including engineering, planning, transportation, and construction management services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design excellence, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings strong project management fundamentals to every assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Leadership
  • Lead all phases of landscape architecture projects—from concept through construction.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Serve as primary client contact; build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Oversee project teams, providing direction, mentorship, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with internal disciplines and external partners, including architects, engineers, and subconsultants.
  • Prepare and lead presentations for clients, agencies, and public meetings.

Design & Technical Expertise:

  • Develop and review conceptual designs, site plans, planting plans, grading, and technical detailing.
  • Guide the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure designs meet local, state, and federal requirements, including environmental and permitting regulations.
  • Conduct site evaluations and field reviews to support design development and construction.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities.

Business Development & Strategy:

  • Support proposal development, project interviews, and client outreach.
  • Help identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic growth of the Landscape Architecture practice.
  • Participate in industry events, client meetings, and networking activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Florida Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) license required.
  • 8–15+ years of progressive experience in landscape architecture and project management.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating built and unbuilt work across public, private, or mixed-use sectors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with municipal agencies, private and/or public realm/streetscape projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
