Senior Producer, CNN Global Productions Overview The Senior Producer of CNN Global Productions plays a vital role responsible for producing revenue‑generating feature content for all of CNN’s platforms from pitch to publish. They master multi‑platform storytelling—from written digital features and bite‑size social videos to film documentaries—innovating and experimenting with new technologies. They turn data and audience insights into compelling stories, mentor junior producers, and drive high‑profile sponsorships, collaborating with regional bureaus, on‑air talent, and cross‑functional teams to deliver content that distinguishes CNN. Responsibilities Produce and manage the day‑to‑day logistics and creative process for feature content across digital, TV, and social media. Take responsibility for the department’s most high‑profile and challenging sponsorships; mentor other producers to deliver on defined KPIs and partner with content insights to make data‑driven decisions. Travel extensively and collaborate with regional bureaus to bring global stories to CNN’s audience. Manage project budgets, promote budget awareness, and professionally oversee costs. Work under the Executive Producer to assign budgets/goals and with Concept Development Executives to ideate new sponsorship series proposals. Champion CNN’s editorial standards and ensure adherence to processes and procedures across jurisdictions. Review performance metrics with Insights colleagues and adjust strategies accordingly. Qualifications & Experience 7+ years’ experience creating engaging content (written, video, social) that drives traffic. Leadership skills: mentor younger producers and manage ambitious projects. Strong writing and editing skills. Passion for using social media as a publishing and audience‑engagement tool. Proven editorial judgment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Deep understanding of multiple platforms and devices. Current affairs knowledge and familiarity with S&P and local regulatory guidelines. Organized, efficient, multitasker—able to manage booking, logistics, and research. Self‑starting attitude and strong organizational and time‑management skills. EEO Statement Warner Bros. Compensation Pay Range: $100,380.00 – $186,420.00 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards.
