Swenson Welding and Fabrication is a small family-owned business with over 30 years experience in the welding and fabrication industry. We offer full welding and fabrication services on top of structural/miscellaneous iron, custom stairs/railings, and amusement ride repair/rebuild. In addition to our machine shop, our truck fleet is ready to offer mobile welding and material placement services at a moments notice. As we look forward to what the future brings, we still pride ourselves in our quality of work just as we did when we first started.

We are expanding and are in need of an additional  Structural Steel and Miscellaneous Metals Estimator   experienced in steel beams and columns, stairs, and railings!Join our incredible team and help build the future!

Requirements and Duties:

***PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATION IS REQUIRED***

• Minimum of 2 years experience with structural steel estimating.
• Participate in team meetings to prepare new, ongoing, and follow-up of completed jobs.
• Demonstrate the ability to properly read and obtain measurements with measuring tools.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand and extract crucial information from blue prints.
• Demonstrate the ability to generate field dimensions, confirm elevations, etc.
• Demonstrate the ability to produce accurate takeoffs of steel, brackets, plates, hardware, materials, etc.
