\nRN - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Continuously monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and temperature
\n• Monitor patient's level of consciousness as they recover from anesthesia
\n• Ensure patent airway and adequate respiratory function
\n• Intervene quickly for airway obstruction or respiratory distress
\n• Administer medications including painkillers, anti-nausea drugs, and fluids
\n• Manage post-operative symptoms and maintain patient comfort
\n• Assess surgical sites for bleeding or complications
\n• Check dressings and perform comprehensive physical assessments
\n• Recognize adverse reactions to anesthesia or surgery
\n• Initiate appropriate emergency interventions when needed
\n• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
\n• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members
\n• On call nights and weekends on rotation with current staff
\n• Weekend work only when on call, not scheduled weekends
\n• 2 years PACU experience required
\n• BLS (AHA) certification required
\n• Michigan nursing license required
