\n\nJob Details:
\n• Varied work schedule with flexible hours
\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for PACU patients
\n• Provide post-anesthesia care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
\n• Conduct patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs
\n• Review patient history and physical with patient/family within appropriate timeframes
\n• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
\n• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient needs
\n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
\n• Delegate appropriately and provide nursing supervision to other licensed nurses and personnel
\n• Document all nursing activities legibly and timely in patient records
\n• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
\n• Mentor and precept new staff members as appropriate
\n• Current valid RN license in California required
\n• BLS certification required
\n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required
\n• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse preferred
\n• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
\n• Professional certification preferred
\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
\n• Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills
