Our client is a well-known food manufacturer with plants in NY and NJ. Due to growth, seeking a Bookkeeper to join the Accounting & Finance team. Primary duties include: + Assist with order entry, payables and receivables, purchasing, payroll, benefits admin and other related activities for our company + Assist with periodic accounting and finance reports Position reports to Accounting Manager Ideal candidates for Bookkeeper will possess the following: + Bachelors degree-Accounting or Finance + 5+ years experience in accounting or finance + Experience with payroll + Knowledge of GAAP + Proficient with MS Excel Salary up to $85,000/yr.
