Somos Un Pueblo Unido (Somos) is a statewide, immigrant-led organization advancing worker and racial justice across New Mexico. The Community Organizer recruits members, develops leaders, and supports grassroots campaigns to improve wages, working conditions, and immigrant inclusion. Responsibilities include: Recruiting and training immigrant and low-wage worker members Supporting advocacy, outreach, and mobilization efforts Facilitating meetings, workshops, and community events Building relationships with allies and coalition partners Presenting Know-Your-Rights trainings Qualifications: Commitment to social, economic, and racial justice Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed Reliable transportation Salary & Benefits: Starting at $45,000/year (depending on experience) for a 32‑hour workweek.
