Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain control systems for building automation and energy management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, troubleshooting, and system integration, ensuring our systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Design and develop control systems for building automation and HVAC applications.
- Program and configure Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Conduct system integration to ensure seamless operation of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform commissioning of control systems to validate functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and specifications.
- Utilize CAD software for system design and layout.
- Conduct energy management assessments and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in controls engineering, specifically in building automation and energy management.
- Strong programming skills with DDC and PLC systems.
- Familiarity with HVAC design and control strategies.
- Experience with system integration and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in CAD software for design purposes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
