SUMMARY

Responsible for leading all aspects of worship for First Naples Espanol in coordination with the Worship Pastor of First Naples Church.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of First Naples.
• Assists the Worship Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
• Basic personal responsibilities:
  • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation
  • Lead yourself and your home towards Honesty, Honor, Humility, Hunger, the Holy Spirit, and Health (Emotional, Spiritual, Financially, and Physically)
  • Maintain proper priorities in your home, including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children)
  • Faithfully support the ministries of First Naples by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you
  • Maintain active participation in an adult group
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of First Naples (Colossians 3:23-24)

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and lead all First Naples Espanol worship services in coordination with both the Worship Pastor and the First Naples Espanol Pastor
  • Plan all music
  • Lead the congregation in singing weekly
  • Coordinate musicians and voices for each Sunday service
  • Hold rehearsal weekly along with all worship ministries of First Naples
  • Develop and raise up new musicians and voices in coordination with the Worship Ministry of First Naples
• Work alongside First Naples Espanol Pastor to plan special events
• Work with First Naples Worship Pastor by providing musicians and voices for special multilingual worship services (if planned)
• Serve if needed in all areas of First Naples Worship (Choir/Orchestra, Band-led, College/Youth Services, Camp, VBS, Cape Coral and other possible locations, etc.)
• Supervise elements of service such as ProPresenter, graphics, and AVL related functions

EVALUATION AREAS FOR ROLE

• Will report directly to First Naples Worship Pastor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct supervisor and coach for all volunteers in the areas of music.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A bachelor's degree minimum and/or five years of ministry-related experience and training are preferred. Must be able to play at least one instrument, have a strong singing voice, and lead both a worship team and a congregation.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be fluent in spoken and written Spanish and communicate effectively in English. The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail, and in person, and demonstrate tact and diplomacy. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public, church members, and regular attendees. The individual must have the ability to understand written or oral instructions; reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents, instruction manuals, and policies and procedures are essential in both English and Spanish.

COMPUTER SKILLS

The individual must have demonstrated skill in using PC systems to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets, and the ability to use the Internet for information retrieval. They must also be able to use Planning Center Online (PCO) and ProPresenter.

REASONING ABILITY

The ability to simultaneously conceptualize and plan multiple tasks and project outcomes using different implementation strategies and apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations is required. The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.

LISTA ESPECÃFICA DE FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

• Planificar y dirigir todos los servicios de adoración de First Naples Espanol en coordinacion con ambos el Worship Pastor y el First Naples Espanol Pastor
  • Planificar toda la musica
  • Dirigir a la congregación en el canto semanal
  • Coordinar musicos y voces para cada servicio dominical.
  • Realizar ensayos semanales junto con todos los ministerios de adoracion de First Naples
  • Desarrollar y formar nuevos musicos y voces en coordinacion con el Ministerio de Adoracion de First Naples.
• Trabajar junto con el pastor de First Naples Espanol para planificar eventos especiales
• Trabajar con el Worship Pastor de First Naples proporcionando musicos y voces para servicios de adoracion multilingues especiales si esta previsto
• Sirva si es necesario en todas las areas de First Naples Worship (coro/orquesta, banda dirigida, servicios universitarios/jovenes, campamento, EBV, Cape Coral y otras ubicaciones posibles, etc.)
• Supervisar elementos de servicio como ProPresenter, gra¡ficos y funciones relacionadas con AVL.

CALIFICACIONES

EDUCACION Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDAS

Se prefiere título universitario mínimo y/o cinco años de experiencia y/o capacitación relacionada con el ministerio. Debe poder tocar al menos un instrumento y tener una voz fuerte para cantar y poder dirigir tanto un equipo de adoración como una congregación.

HABILIDADES LINGUISTICAS

Debe dominar el español hablado y escrito y poder comunicarse eficazmente en inglés. El individuo debe tener excelentes habilidades interpersonales, capacidad para trabajar con un grupo diverso de personas, comunicarse de manera clara y eficaz por telEfono, correo electrOnico y en persona, y demostrar tacto y diplomacia. Se requieren habilidades interpersonales excepcionales para desarrollar y mantener relaciones laborales solidas con voluntarios, compañeros de trabajo, el público, miembros de la iglesia y asistentes regulares.
