Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated full-time Insurance Representative located out of our Carson or Mandan branch office to service our Carson branch customers. The Insurance Representative is responsible for marketing and servicing multi-peril crop insurance, hail insurance, PRF, and LRP customers.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and strategic selling skills
• Current knowledge of farm / ranch production methods
• Time management skills

Major/Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for servicing an existing portfolio and marketing products to develop new business
• Provide quotations and support customers in making informed risk management decisions
• Collect acreage information and process insurance forms
• Represents and promotes Farm Credit Services of Mandan within the community
• Maintains a strong understanding of products and services offered

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business preferred, two-year post-secondary degree accepted
• Two years related experience preferred
• Current knowledge of agriculture production
• Ability to become licensed in MPCI and Hail within one year
• Some day travel to Carson required if located out of Mandan
