Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to patients’ needs as part of chiropractic and physical therapy care plans.
• Collaborate with chiropractors and physical therapists to support patients' recovery and wellness goals.
• Assess clients’ soft tissue condition, joint quality, and muscle health to create individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques, stretches, and ways to manage pain or tension between sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely SOAP notes/documentation of all treatments.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment by adhering to office protocols and maintaining equipment.
• Build rapport with clients to foster trust, loyalty, and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Valid and current state massage therapy license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a massage therapist (experience in a clinical setting is preferred).
• Proficiency in therapeutic and medical massage techniques.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the musculoskeletal system.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong commitment to patient care.
