We are seeking dedicated Instructional Aides to provide vital academic, behavioral, and social support within schools in the Allentown area. These per diem positions offer flexible shifts designed to meet varying school coverage needs, making them an excellent fit for compassionate individuals eager to contribute meaningfully in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in classroom environments, providing one-on-one or small group assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as necessary
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks ensuring student safety and well-being
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Current or obtainable PA Act 34 Criminal Background Check, PA Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, PA Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, and TB test (as mandated by school district)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when neededPreferred Skills:
• Experience in special education, behavioral health, or childcare environments
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT considered a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
