Producer, CNN Global Productions Join to apply for the Producer, CNN Global Productions role at CNN . The Producer of Global Productions plays a vital role in CNN’s revenue‑driving content team, responsible for creating feature content across all CNN platforms – digital articles, short‑form social videos, and 30‑minute TV documentaries. About the Role This position is ideal for a journalist with a passion for global storytelling and travel, who can write and craft content that connects with audiences wherever they are. The Producer works across CNN’s portfolio of sponsored series, partners with other producers and specialist editors, and collaborates with regional bureaus to introduce CNN’s global audience to compelling stories from around the world. Responsibilities Organize production logistics and schedules, work with camera operators and video editors to script and create editorial features, and ensure adherence to Ofcom guidelines and CNN’s editorial processes. Pitch story ideas and treatments to Copy Editors and section heads – Style, Travel, Business, Health, etc. Write articles in the required tone and style, building pieces, galleries, and videos in the CNN CMS. Write headlines and tease language optimized for search and platform programming. Commission graphics from the design team and provide editorial information and facts. Collaborate with the social teams to create content that drives engagement on CNN’s flagship accounts. Review analytics with the Strategic Insights Analyst to inform further content plans. Pitch, produce, and edit opinion articles. Submit and review work with Copy Editors and the CNN Triad (where required) for approval. Produce stand‑out digital content, including long and short‑form articles, interactives, image galleries, videos, infographics, photo essays, social content, and opinion writes, contributing to sponsorship KPIs and audience growth targets. Qualifications & Experience At least 5 years of experience creating engaging written, video, and social content that drives traffic. Strong writing and editing skills. Experience and passion for using social media as a publishing and audience engagement tool. Strong editorial judgment. Strong communicator and collaborator. Deep understanding of multiple platforms and devices. Organized, efficient, and able to multi‑task booking, logistics, and research. Positive, self‑starting attitude. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience. Compensation Pay Range: $75,320.00 – $139,880.00 per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short‑ and long‑term incentives, and program‑specific awards. Warner Bros.
