EUROFINS EATON ANALYTICAL, the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US, has a Sample Receiving-Shipping Technician opening at our Pomona, CA Laboratory.
The Sample Receiving-Shipping Technician is responsible for shipment of all samples and bottle kits into and out of the laboratory, as well as all documentation and tracking procedures. Communicates turnaround times and issues with Project Managers. Responsible to receive and restock new supplies from vendors as well as housekeeping in warehouse areas. Maintains department in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and provides input for process improvements. Assists with training new employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent, College Degree preferred. Must be familiar with MS Office programs such as Outlook, Explorer, Excel and Word. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
This role will be a full-time role, Monday to Friday starting at 6 am to 2 pm with overtime and weekends as needed. Compensation Range: $18.54 - $24 / hour. Candidates within a commutable distance to Pomona, CA are encouraged to apply. Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
