Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-ray Technologist for a busy level III trauma center, requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of imaging experience including CT.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• CT/X-ray technologist combo role in an acute care hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00pm to 12:30am
• Call and holiday coverage required
• Regular floating to X-ray duties and to a nearby sister facility within 15 minutes if needed
• Daily caseload ranges from 35 to 50 exams per technologist
• Handles general CT scans (Cardiac CT to be added soon), diagnostic X-rays, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging, especially orthopedic and pain management cases
• Unit supported by a breast radiologist on Mondays and Tuesdays and an interventional radiologist on Thursdays and Fridays
• Uses Meditech for charting; experience with GE/Siemens preferred
• Free parking available with HR pass
• Duties include performing all CT and X-ray exams except select cardiac CTs, with additional coverage for diagnostic, fluoroscopic, and surgical imaging needs
• Floating to other imaging modalities and to a nearby facility may occur to meet patient care needs
• Block scheduling is available
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• RTO must be requested up front or it may not be approved
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions

\n \n Requirements\n

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year imaging experience with at least 6 months in CT
• X-ray experience required
• Experience with Meditech, GE, or Siemens systems preferred
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31), no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
• First-time travelers accepted
• No state license required; license required if applicable
